LGCSF commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising with a brand new theatrical choral music suite, Quiet No More.
This piece celebrates the vast legacy and worldwide change that started from the events of June 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in New York City - the effects of which are as vital today as they were 50 years ago. Join us for an evening of music which honors the courage of these social justice pioneers, and which inspires resistance for the future.
Quiet No More, created in collaboration with New York Gay Men's Chorus and Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, as well as more than 20 GALA Choruses around the United States, features the voices of diverse LGBTQ composers, including Julian Hornik (Dear Evan Hansen); Our Lady J (Pose, Transparent); Mike Shaieb (Through A Glass Darkly); Ann Hampton Callaway (singer/song-writer); Michael McElroy (Broadway Inspirational Voices, Rent); and Jane Ramseyer Miller (One Voice Chorus).
There are assigned sections, but NO assigned seats at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music - all seating is first come, first served.
